History
TMC Trailers was established in 1948 by Ian Currie. The earliest trailers built
by TMC include some of the very first heavy transport trailers used on New Zealand
roads.
TMC Trailers has since built up a significant portfolio of clients from single owner
operators to some of New Zealand’s largest transport operators including Linfox
Logistics, TR Group, Works Infrastructure, TNL Freighting and Fulton Hogan.
From a one-man-band to today with over 40 employees TMC Trailers has continued to
grow and prosper under the leadership of Ian’s son Paul and with the recent addition
of Paul’s son Richard to the company TMC is set to be a long lasting major player
in the New Zealand trailer market.
